Airsoft rules and safety requirements
Safe and enjoyable airsoft is built on clear rules that every player understands and follows. The following core rules apply at N.A.C. events.
Safety requirements
Eye protection is mandatory for all players for the entire duration of the game, including during breaks while on the field. The protection used must meet at least ANSI Z87.1 or an equivalent standard.
Keeping a gun loaded outside the play area is forbidden. Your weapon must always be pointed in a safe direction, either up or down.
Hit recognition
When you are hit, raise your hand immediately and clearly call out "HIT!". After being hit, leave the field using the route indicated by the organizer. Dishonest play has no place in airsoft - fair play is one of the sport's core values.
Safe weapon handling
Keep your finger off the trigger unless you are ready to shoot. Never point your gun directly at someone's face outside normal gameplay conditions. Before leaving the field, unload the gun completely and engage the safety.
